Drake and Chris Brown says screw you Rihanna we want to make money.
The Young Money rapper and Breezy are planning to combine their forces in the music business to make millions and a lot of that dollar sign will be driven by their old feud over their ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
Last week someone post a photo on Instagram of Chris Brown and Drake in the studio working on some new music.
According to TMZ, the two hip-hop stars have put their differences aside and are trying to build a professional friendship.
Both Breezy and Drizzy camps thinks that people will want to hear a collaboration because of the Rihanna feud.
People will pick the lyrics apart, trying to figure out if they are talking about Rihanna …the woman who they both slept with and the catalyst for the W.i.P. brawl.
Everyone wants to hear who sounds better — Chris or Drake.
Beyonce and Jay Z are taking steps to save their marriage amidst growing reports that they could be heading for a divorce.
Rumours of infidelity rocking the marriage started in May shortly after that infamous elevator fight video with Solange and Jay Z.
While the couple has not publicly address the cheating rumours, Beyonce did sent a few subliminal jab at Jay Z when she performed her single “Resentment” on their joint On The Run Tour.
According to the Daily Mirror, hip-hop’s royal couple has turned to a well known marriage counsellor for help while on tour.
“It might sound drastic but in America especially, counselling is fairly standard procedure,” a source said.
“They have known their therapist for a long time and try to have weekly sessions just to keep communication open and make sure there are no misunderstandings.”
“It’s about maintenance rather than trying to fix anything hugely wrong. They are both happy and their daughter, Blue Ivy, remains their absolute priority.”
The rapper Meek Mill called next Saturday’s concert at Temple University’s Liacouras Center his “Homecoming Tour,” a return to Philadelphia to “play in front of his home town at the height of his career.”
That concert and other bookings abruptly fell through Friday when a Philadelphia judge sentenced the rising music star to three to six months in prison for violating his probation on a 2009 drug and gun conviction.
Common Pleas Court Judge Genece E. Brinkley seemed by turns infuriated and saddened during the four-hour hearing.
“After all these years of me trying to help him move his career forward . . . I believe this defendant is basically thumbing his nose at me,” Brinkley told the 27-year-old hip-hop star and his lawyer, Gary Silver.
Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, pleaded with Brinkley to let him continue working. Mill said his career supports him, his mother, sister, son, and other friends and placed his monthly expenses at $80,000 to $90,000.
“It took me 15 years to get here, and this will be extremely damaging to my life,” Mill said.
Brinkley referred to almost two years of probation violation hearings spent trying to reconcile the terms of his probation with Mill’s burgeoning international concert schedule.
“You just don’t get it,” the judge said.
By the end of the hearing, the tall, thin rapper, dressed in a white shirt and tie and black pants, seemed resigned to what he knew was coming.
Not so his posse of more than a dozen people who seemed stunned as sheriff’s deputies escorted him from the courtroom to be transported to the city’s prison complex in the Northeast.
Several women left in tears and outside of court talked animatedly about injustice.
“He didn’t do nothing wrong,” protested one.
Mill will spend at least three months in prison and possibly the full six. When he gets out, he will have to start a new five-year period of probation.
Brinkley warned him not to make further concert plans without court approval.
When Mill said his schedule was “now booked up till December,” Brinkley cut him off.
“I don’t want to hear it, I don’t care about it,” the judge said.
Mill has been a regular in court for nearly two years, disputing the terms of his probation with Philadelphia probation officers and trying Brinkley’s patience as she worked to accommodate his schedule.
Assistant District Attorney Noel DeSantis asked Brinkley to sentence Mill to five to 10 years in prison. She and probation officer Treas Underwood recited a litany of alleged violations.
Some had to do with scheduling problems, which required Mill to be in constant contact with Underwood while touring, providing details about his itinerary.
They also showed a photo of Mill, posing with four men, holding what appeared to be a semiautomatic pistol – Silver said it was a prop during a photo shoot – and Mill’s insulting comments about DeSantis and Underwood on Twitter, some written while he was in the probation office.
DeSantis said one tweet referred to her as a “racist [expletive]” and attacked Underwood, who is African American, as being jealous that one of her probationers had become a famous and wealthy entertainer.
“He’s asking me to send him to jail and that’s what I’m going to ask for,” DeSantis told Brinkley.
The final straw appeared to be when Brinkley heard that Mill had booked concerts between Thursday and Aug. 11, a time when she had ordered him to stop performing while she tried to resolve his probation problems.
Mill was supposed to have headlined a concert Friday night in Washington.
Said Brinkley: “He’s not going to make that concert tonight.”

Vybz Kartel is not going down without a fight. Attorneys representing the embattled dancehall star has filed a multimillion dollar lawsuit against outgoing Police Commissioner Owen Ellington.
Kartel’s lead attorney, Tom Tavares-Finson, told Zip FM, that the documents have ben signed by the incarcerated deejay but he had dated them which he shouldn’t have. So he will have to re-sign new docs which will be filed in the next couple of days.
It is unknown how much money Vybz Kartel is suing Owen Ellington for, but sources told Urban Islandz it is in the millions.
“The commissioner is part of a wider conspiracy to bring down Vybz Kartel and this law suit will send a clear message to this corrupt authority,” the source told us requesting anonymity.
In April of this year, Police Commissioner Owen Ellington revealed in an interview with TVJ’s All Angles that Vybz Kartel lead a gang that is responsible for well over a 100 murders.
“Vybz Kartel lead a gang that was responsible for well over a hundred murders,” Owen Ellington said. “We have been telling the country this for a very long time. And every time we move against this gang we were criticized, we were contemned and we were accused of being malicious.”
Ellington recently announced his retirement from being the top cop in Jamaica after just four years on the job.
After Vybz Kartel conviction in February, Ellington defended the police force from widespread criticism of their handling of evidence presented in the high profile murder trial.
Kartel, born Adidja Palmer, is currently serving a life sentence in a maximum security section of the Horizon Remand Center. He will be eligible for parole in 35 years, while his three co-convicts Shawn Storm Campbell, Andre St John, and Kahira Jones will have to wait 25 years for parole.
According to TMZ.Com….. Lil Wayne’s label could lose the fire hose that promotes stars like Drake and Nicki Minaj among many others … according to a new lawsuit.
Turns out before there was Young Money there was something called youngmoney.com — a business specializing in helping young entrepreneurs manage and make money for more than a decade.
The suit claims the company that owned the website sold it to Wayne’s Young Money label in 2011 for $600,000. But there were strings attached … if Wayne’s Young Money didn’t make the payments on time, YM would forfeit the name youngmoney.com and it would go back to the seller.
Wayne’s company hasn’t paid the $250K balance it owes and is blatantly blowing off its obligation … according to the lawsuit. So the seller is suing to get its domain name back.
We reached out to Wayne’s Young Money. They had no comment.
Kim Kardashian has solved women’s biggest dilemma worldwide – which outfit makes my bum look best? If in doubt – wear both.
The reality star joined her sisters Khloe and Kourtney at Babies ‘R’ Us in New York, where they threw military mums a big baby shower today, and showed off her world famous Curves in not one, but TWO outfits.
Kim began the day in a figure-hugging blue outfit, showing off a tiny bit of her gorgeous waist in the crop top and giving us more than just a peek at that amazing bum of hers once again.
With her hair loosely curled, Kanye West’s wife klooked smouldering next to her slightly more covered up sisters.
But keen to prove she’s the queen of tight, the stunner then swapped blue for red and got us all fired up a bit more.
While the blue was plunging as well as tight, the red covered up just very slightly more – but clings a bit more at the same time, which totally makes up for it.
Meanwhile Khloe and Kourtney looked just as glamorous but covered up next to their sister.
Kourtney, who is expecting her third child, covered her bump in a black and white blouse coupled with some tiny white shorts.
And 30-year-old Khloe opted for a figure-hugging animal print ensemble that was sure to turn some heads in the big apple.
It comes as it’s revealed Kim is reportedly planning a property renovation business with her husband Kanye.
The couple spent $11 million on a Bel Air mansion last June but have not yet moved in as they have been making improvements to the property and are now said to have decided to sell it on at a huge profit once work has finished.
And insiders told TMZ.com that Kim and Kanye have enjoyed the renovation process so much, they want it to be a sideline that will see them work on several houses and estates a year.
The couple are said to be convinced the venture would be a success as they know all the “best people” in fields such as architecture, interior design and landscape gardening.
